Beer of the Week: Samuel Adams Summer Ale

Yes, it’s summer time, and that’s when all the seasonal sumer brews jump onto the supermarket shelves. Among the best, Samuel Adams Summer Ale. This light beer has a very light hint of citrus, and an alcohol content of 5.3%. The beer was released in 1995, and it is sold from April to August, so you only have a month left to consume it before the summer is over.

The history of Sam Adams brewery isn’t that old. In 1984, Jim Koch started the microbrewery in Boston, and since then it has taken over the world of beer. At that time in America, there were not very many breweries using high quality ingredients. Sam Adams brewery was at the forefront of an American beer revolution. Soon after, more and more small breweries began to pop up all over the country.

Plain and simple, Sam Adams beers have more awards than any other beer in history! That should tell you some thing about the Summer Ale, as well as their 16 other beers.

If you read this article and try the beer please let me know your thoughts about it. If you have thoughts in general about beer you can let me know those as well. If you have thoughts in general about anything you can let me know those too.
